have the sequencer row with a built in switch that lets you quantise it so it snaps to/ reads out in semitones(for arps), or 1/16th measures (for remixing). Likewise, you should have the option of viewing the pitch modulation sliders on oscillators so they also read out in semitones if required.

also, while no doubt its mathematically correct, when you modulate the basic sawtooth the harmonics drop off almost instantly - could we get a more gradual dropoff/ curve in the harmonics?

likewise, the curve on the comb filter is really touchy re the feedback knob - the sweet spot where is resonates, is like 127-129, after which you get evil feedback. could we get a subtler curve on that?

id also love to see a 'any' out added to the trigger switch - like having all the triggers output into an single mixer - any of the 8 drums will trigger it - could be useful for dynamic effects.

cheers Gav/ fellow vazzies.

Might be a big request, but can you make a patching interface like the G2's? As an alternative to the existing one. For example I find it more intuitive and ergonomic.
And expanded wavetable possibilities like in Synthmaster and Zebra.

Ok now I have a serious problem!

Of some reason Vaz Modular doesn't seems to like my upgrade from Cubase SX3 to Cubase 5.

I got terrible crasches when I try to open and close the vaz-window in Cubase 5 (when using the little keyboard-icon)

Anyone more with this problem?

Please help! Sad

Also if I use VAZ in a project, and then close the project, everything crasches. This only happens when VAZ is used. I use a PC with Windows XP.

But not using the EDIT button Wink
Maybe you didn't properly remove the old SX3 and some remaining user files may fcuk the new version up.

A new Ring Modulator would be great!

some spectral effects would be good, although probably not easy to implement.

VAZ is a super synth. A cutting edge soft-synth! I find it inspiring to use as an effect too (with help of live input and envelope follower there's no limits), also i love feedback feature (output of the synth to the input of filter mixer, then play with fader), the filter R module was like a revelation (6 pole, or even 8 pole feature might be a nice addition). Only cpu use concerns me. My computer may get 95% when there's 3 or more instances running, so optimization is a must. Also presets-within-given-setup is a welcome feature, it would be cool add some kind of morph feature (no bother though, it can be done with some work in the modulation section). Also i find that oscillators lack features like skew, that exist in a real oscillators ( look here for pics http://mypeoplepc.com/members/scottnoanh/thomashen rysxrvcoskewedwaveforms/ ), also it might be a good feature to over drive the filter input (to get moog sounds) or to overdrive the osc's out, or to make a new waveshaper module (old one has bad interface). But for what it is - there's no substitute (esp. the grain osc! I cannot thank enough for this module). But for me something like random module (think LP filtered noise with controllable slew rate or like this http://www.cgs.synth.net/modules/psycho_lfo.html )   , and maybe a VST insert within a synth (you already have it in the mixer, so make it possible in the synth too!)

I'm thinking now how to make it possible to play live, to program CC's to make some changes or to completely change the sound.

I know its the double post, and yes, I wanted my post to be seen as an important one.

You can insert a vst within the synth.
Load an FX module and load vst effect.
In Vaz 2010 you can overdrive the moog filter by increase the osc volume, so i'm pretty shure you can do this in Vaz Mod too

I've only just discovered the wonders of the sequencers in the past week or so...the "send to tempo" "send to gate" and randomizer functions are brilliant!

Any way to:
--activate the randomizer via CC (both in terms of triggering, and adjusting probabilities of pitch, rest, slide, etc. via modulation)
--highlight the current step in the Control sequencer (as in Trigger & CC sequencers) and turn the 4 control rows into one long 64 step sequencer

...would be great

they are good ideas - perhaps even the ability to have seperate clock divisions on each row of those sequencers so they can do different resolutions..?
