I picked up a Sansamp a bit back, just exploring things and seeing what is what. I like it and it does what it claims to do. It's a very nice box for DI'ing bass paritcularly. But, as I've experimented, I've found that I can get good results in other ways, using equipment that I need for various other reasons and therefore can't sell. And I also have no rack space to put it in either. So, in the interests of further exploration, I'm going to sell this guy and try to plug another hole that is not already covered by something else, of which there are many.
If you like agressive type of rock bass, particularly played with a pick, it's particularly good for that kind of stuff. It can be clean or give you huge grunge. It can also do the SVT'ish type of solid fat bass with very light distortion. It has high/low rolloff plus a mid-range boost cut with variable frequency. Also good for recording a simulaneous DI and amp'd track since it has a separate XLR out with its own level control, plus the separately controlled output for an amp. It's like new. No scratches, no rack rash, etc... I'm asking $225 shipped and PayPal'd, continental US only. I've got plenty of feedback in the feedback thread (and on Gearslutz) if you want to check up on me. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/RPM/ |
