Hi Rob,

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't tested it in Logic 9 on Snow Leopard yet, but it has been a problem in Logic 8 on 10.4.11 and Logic 8 & 9 on 10.5.x.

Peace,
Andy.

Great news Rob! I like to add some blue in my soundtracks. I have a feeling that those new presets will be awesome.

You rocks!

Cool!

Well, I have fun right now. Pad bank. Also "Age Pad" is spacy.
BLUE is awesome for pads

What are the changes with BLUE 1.8.5 Rob?

By the way - i have all my licenses already on the USB Dongle. Do i need to do anything with that regards this update for BLUE?

One more thing....ORION (platinum version 7.62) refuses to see Predator or RP-Verb. Yet it will accept PredatorFX!!

Tried and tried reinstalling etc..but i dont want to mess up my elicense/Dongle stuff so i'll live without Predator in ORION sadly.

Thanks

Great i just got it but i discovered a bad bug in Blue 1.8.5 Multicore version.

When i add it in Orion 7.62 it uses 55% of my cpu before i even play a note.

I also have Predator Multicore version installed and it works fine so it must be a problem with Blue.

Hi,

- Many new presets included DubStep
- Sequencer and Arpeggiator "lock" function
- New improved Reverb code with "Reverb length control"
- 10-20% CPU savings on regular computers.
- 20-30% CPU savings on computer using multi-core Intel processors.
- new eLicense control center inside installer
- 64bits and 64bits Multi-core processors PC versions
- saving bug fixed in Mac version (Logic)

If your license is at the dongle. Just run the installer and quit the "elicenser" once it pops up.
No need to enter again the activation code.

About Orion.
Weird. That we need to check.

Hi,

Odd. Did you install the full version, included the Intel parts?
One note and 55%...that is not fun.
The "cluster" sounds use more CPU, because "chord memory" is active. Hitting one note, means that maybe 5 play.

Anyhow, we check it out here

No it idle's at 50-55% just by adding it in Orion (So this is before i start playing).

I downloaded the Normal version to test and it works fine but not the multicore version.

Everything is included Intel Patch and all and Predator Multicore version works fine but not Blue.

Hi Smile
You have to add Predator and Rp-Verb in your vstconfig.txt file in your Orion folder and choose Rescan on startup in Orion and Restart it.

Orion is very Picky when it comes to certain Vst's so you have to bypass them by adding them in your vstconfig file.

I've just check on Orion 7 here and it seems ok , it's not going to 55%.

Just one thing , do you have multiprocessor stuff turned on ? If you turn it to the other state then it is now , does that change anything.

Cheers

Hi Very Happy
Did you open up task manager to see the cpu usage?
In Orion it shows only 2% but in Taskmanager it shows 55% cpu usage.

I just tested with Multicore support on and off in Orion and it shows 55% in task manager in both options.
