There should be a web bot that would remind Urs about us posting a daily excitement post ending with the question "Urs, when do we get it?".

This technique is pretty famous and called 'Carthage' because it was first discovered by Roman statesman Cato the Elder. :)

I'm not sure, did anybody ask for it before, but is it or would it be possible to have at least one adrs where a or d (or s&r) could be modulated by smth (say lfo)?

I think that could be possible. But it of course doesn't make sense at audio rate, so it would be a control rate option (as is rate and level already in ACE and Bazille).

There have to be some compromises at last...

Yep, I just checked. I can move the release knob in Ace and the current envelope will update even if it already started the release segment. This is the first softsynth I've seen do this. Zebra doesn't, not that I'm complaining.

My turn. ...

Are we there yet?

:D
All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

One of my favorite tricks with one of my analog VC envelopes, is to patch it's output to a VCA and then back into one of it's own VC inputs. Using the envelope to modulate the timing of it's own attack or decay allows me to vary the envelope shape (sharper with negative voltage, rounder with positive voltage) and having the depth controlled by a VCA gives me a lot of control over envelope shape in realtime.

Where are the screenies ?

The first post in this thread has Mac/Win beta demos and a screenshot:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 55#3691055

Will it have step sequencers ? In fact, a single page page of multiple step sequencers would be cool, and their output routing sockets on the main patch page, so we could step sequence either notes control changes like we do in ACE.

My original plan was making the synths 8-part multitimbral and offering a page with a 16-part step sequencer. back then I thought that the built-in modular systems would be patch compatible. However, as it turns out, Bazille and ACE have become very different conceptually, as will Lush be.

Hence I'm rather thinking a dedicated stand alone host for Berlin Modular /w step sequencers or something, but that's rather be an option for a future update.

That said, I'm all for sequencers, but I don't know yet when or where or how.

Cheers,

Has the Bazille trial period expired? It seems to emit noise periodically now, and I seem to recall that it would expire some time around now...
