Finally got to download the Benassi Bass VST from their site. Left 'em a post about how it might people off and affect their income. If you can get through, why note add to the post. It isn't hard to find as there are only two posts on the site !

Sorry/I appologize for the wait. I got held up with other stuff (life) but have not/did not forget. So i found the all simpleVSTs plug-ins i have (all of them AFAIK)

Here is just Purple Reign 2 in case that is all you need/is missing:

http://www.mediafire.com/?yh9a3ula57uyyrb

And just in case here is everything simpleVST i got in one (R)archive:

http://www.mediafire.com/?4z5bbdt75227ahb

Bit of a swine to find since it was just called 'SimpleVSTsPRv2' so i was hunting pretty much blind D'oh! and then i started to look in specific guitar amp/cab/pedal related folders! Anyway i do hope that sorts it out for you Dom, Jimi, S'dad and mztk plus anyone else who didn't catch it/then Smile

All the best to everyone and catch you soon good people Thumbs Up!

No worries Dean, I knew you wouldn't forget. Thanks for taking the trouble to find the time fetching it that fast within your hectic schedule. Thumbs Up!

I think I have all the other ones, I'll check this out more closely anyway since I have now downloaded the pack. Wink

Bob, I don't have a problem downloading the AREX 2011, I just click on the pic and the download starts immediately, and from what I can gather with Dependency Walker it runs only on XPSP2 and newer OS (Doesn't run here since I have Windows ME) because of some useless/unneeded functions (a Microsoft plot to force people to upgrade. Rolling Eyes).

Apart from that guys, make sure you don't miss today's superb goodies, especially Revitar 2, but WOK's arpy is very good as well and this russian spectrum analyzer pretty cool also (all running great on my "outdated" OS Cool):

I'm going to try Purple Reign on Revitar now. Very Happy

Cheers.

3 Synthmaker synths I optimised with the help of the SM forum's wiki and assembly codes. They run at 6% cpu on my dual core, at the most. You could run em on a Pentium3.

They are FM, phase distortion, and sync'ing.

Just a reminder.
Meffy wrote:
Piracy is piracy. Period. It's not up for discussion every few months.

As for the "reup for the masses" -- not "abandonware" -- thread, I have repeatedly insisted that anyone posting links to old freeware in it ensure that either 1) the authors of the software explicitly allowed redistribution, or 2) they're the original links or archived versions of the same.

If you find software posted in that thread (or elsewhere) that does not meet one of those tests, contact the thread's OP or a moderator and it will certainly be removed from the thread.
This is absolutely serious. Every single link MUST be checked. If you don't check your links and it turns out you're posting links to / uploading for others anything that does not meet one of those qualifications, it will be considered software piracy.

I do not have time to police every post to this thread. It's up to everyone posting here to do this BEFORE posting. At over 500 pages it would take hours for a browser just to render the entire thread in a single page for splitting purposes, then an hour or two for it to respond to each click on a "delete this post" checkbox; it would be virtually impossible to split off individual posts even if I could tell which ones were no good. If it turns out that this thread contains pirated software, there will be no recourse except to lock it and move the whole bloody thing to an inaccessible forum.

That would be an immense disservice to the OP of the thread, and I'm sure it would be very unpopular. It's not my decision. The decision was made when Ben decided on the rules for KVR.

I strongly recommend every person who has posted here double-check NOW to be certain that every single item posted is 100% legitimate, beyond suspicion, squeaky clean, honest enough to send to your uncle the police chief.

Hi pinkjimiphoton,
I see you listed some of the Delaydots products here:

We have taken over Delaydots some time ago, and we would like to remove those links. We don't distribute old products in any way now until we redesign them.

Thanks,

no prob mate, done.
please let me know if there's anything else.

pjp "

go check if ya wanna.
as for warezed or pirated stuff, if any turns up one of us always alerts whomever and it gets removed. and right quick. almost every single thing on this thread can be found somewhere on the net, or it wouldn't be here. i am not arguing with ya meff or telling ya you are wrong or anything, just stating the truth as i see it. seems to me tho, if the stuff is publicly available either on a current or archived site, it shouldn't be taboo unless expressly stated in a eula, if it even has one. and for site owners of defunct websites, robot.txt files may be handy to contact the archive about...i would expect that those can be added after the fact from the years of surfing the place i've done, as some sites that didn't have robots now do.
i have no interest in uploading things personally, i will on ocaision if the "paperwork" ok's it or doesn't expressly disallow it, i prefer to just post the links and let people download it themselves, as it seems more ethical to me that way. once they do or discover something and download it (if they do) it then becomes their ethical dillema as to whether or not they will chose to follow and agree to and adhere to the eula-if there is one- and unfortunately, that's something no one has control over.
at this point, i believe if anyone has a problem with postings in this thread, they can contact whichever of us posted it and have the problem repaired, and pronto. i know i check this thread daily, sometimes multiple times. so far, anytime anyone has cried foul, it has been immediately rectified.
i sure as hell ain't telling you how to do your job, bud, i think ya do a good job at what ya do, and with a place like this i am sure it's not easy.
so....my humble suggestion, for the good of the music community at large, is this...if you see a problem, or anyone sees a problem, report it to the originator of the post, so it can be rectified. if that doesn't work, contact meffy or one of the other mods (are there other mods? Wink ) and it will be dealt with.
enough rant.
let's get on with it.
peace
