'Democracy' is a remake of a tune from last year. It's originally inspired by the song, 'Mob Rules.' It's kind of preachy, yada yada...

'Marilyn' is perhaps my first ever, 'ballad.'

I've only managed to listen to Marilyn so far but I like it a lot. Reminds me of Fine young Cannibals and Soundgarden (how you managed that i'll never know).

It's probably the most accesible thing I've heard you do, although still clearly batty.

democracy made me smile immediately. reminded me a little of Ween and I love me some Ween. very demented feel throughout, nice. thought it was pretty well mixed but at times I wanted to hear the vocals a little more. but that's minor because i really liked this

marilyn's an interesting idea and lots of demented action in the instruments but i think the song may be better served by less lyrics/singing and more breaks between verses as it seemed like you were singing almost 100% throughout and sort of walking on some cool stuff happening underneath. maybe that was your intention and i can see how that could work with the instrumentation, but i would have liked less vocals on this one i think.

and it's weird and please don't take it the wrong way, your vocal recordings on both sound a bit muffled but i think it kinda gives a nice retro feel to your voice tbh, so I don't know that it needs to change, at least on these songs.
