The downloads are RAR files, like any of the Alchemy sound libraries, and can be installed with the add-on bank installer which puts an "Alchemy Kore" folder in the Alchemy folder. Or, you can extract the RAR file yourself and put the .ksd files wherever you usually put Kore files.

In Kore, open preferences and add a "User Folder". Kore will search the user folder for .ksd files and add them to the preset db. All of this is explained in a read-me text file in the RAR if you need more info Smile

Peace,
Andy.

thx for the quick reply Smile ... ok cool sounds easy enuf!

I recently bought alch, bigtone and PE, I have 50% deal waiting to be used not sure when i'll use it tho.

And indeed very cool synth and presets/patches etc.

Thanks Again,

Dan

Hi,

Updated Alchemy Kore files for Alchemy Factory, Factory Bonus 1 & 2, and Factory Bonus 3 are now available to download from the User Library.

Note: to avoid duplicate Alchemy Kore presets appearing in your Kore library please delete any folders on your system that contain Alchemy Factory .ksd files. Install the new RAR's and then update the Kore User folders via Kore preferences.

No problem and sorry for the delay. I've sorted the .ksd files in to separate RAR's for Factory, Factory Bonus 1 & 2, and Factory Bonus 3. All done now Smile

Peace,
Andy.

Thanks Andy !

Some hints I'd like to add here:

Besides the new koresounds (Bonus 3) I also slightly updated the prior available
koresounds with additional tags ("Spectral synthesis", "tempo-synced" & some others),
but if you have done some additional tagging to them allready yourself, it's not really necessary to download them again - as said, just some slightly different tagging included.

-you can search the bonus sounds by typing 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 in the searchfield
(with the factory content selected prior)

-see my readme file for some additional tags and hints - unfortunately it's buried between the koresounds (it's called "Little Readme.txt")

-you might use my "default.kad" file for Kore instead of typing the additional tags into the searchfield, have a look here:

http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=363 57&page=16 (my 1st and 2nd post there)

-and finally... listen and enjoy.

Thanks and see ya soon... Smile

Thanks to losan for converting the Dance & Trance and Viral Outbreak Alchemy sound libraries to Kore 2 format.

For anyone who has the full version of Alchemy and also owns these banks you can download the new files from the User Library of your support account.

Enjoy!

Peace,
Andy.

No, these are Alchemy presets, converted to Kore format for use with Alchemy. Without Alchemy, there is no way to hear the sounds.

Peace,
Andy.

Ah, sorry, I misread your question Smile

I've loaded up Kore Player Free but there is no option to set a user folder, and I can't find a place on my system to put the Alchemy ksd files.

[edit: found the folder, but Kore Player Free does not recognise the files]

So, it looks like you would need the full version of Kore 2 to load the presets.

Peace,
Andy.

Yep, the Kore player is just that - a (free) player, which will let you
only play the sounds from NI's own Kore soundpacks.

About the new converted koresounds -

- those for "Viral Outbreak" are fully tagged,

- the "DanceTrance" set, which I lately bought with the Planet Earth 50 % discount, has just the basic metadata included - that was just a quick conversion to koresounds for now.

Ciao

Hi fellows,

just a little update about some work in progress.

Currently I'm working at the
"Electronic Bass", Cinematic Atmospheres" and "Cinematic Impacts" add-ons
(and also on the Bonus presets for the Cinematic bundle).
Not sure, if I'll provide extensive tagging for these right now...
(you know - time...)

I'll also soon provide updated koresounds in regards to the recently updated
Alchemy add-on presets!

And then there is the upcoming soundset by Simon Stockhausen ("Alchemistry"),
for which I'll do the conversion to koresounds.
I contacted Simon, and he kindly agreed to include them into his soundset.
(Thanx Simon !)
If you haven't noticed it yet, check his website www.patchpool.de
especially if you're into ambient stuff and have a listen to his demos.

CU soon

to be continued...
