Latest News: Prodyon announces Shortnoise for Kontakt

I am trying out the demo for enchoir and am quite interested in purchasing, however.
How do you use it? I dont get that much effects at all from it. Not in any way like the audio demos on the website Are there presets? What does each knob do? For payware there must be a manual? I Do Hope So... Allen |

Hi Allen, thanks for your interest!
SETUP: Insert an Audio and a MIDI track in your DAW. Insert Enchoir into the Audiochannel, make sure to record-enable (monitor) it. Use your microphone input or something similar as an audio input. In the MIDI Channel: Make sure to select ENCHOIR as a MIDI Target. (e.g. MIDI Channel -> MIDI Out -> Enchoir MIDI IN). Record enable it so that you can trigger Enchoir with MIDI Notes from your keyabord. Finally: Sing something into the Microphone and play some notes on your MIDI Keyboard in the meantime --- Some of the most important controls: 1.DOUBLE -> add's a natural double to the leadvoice. 2.AUTO MUTE -> whenever you play notes on your keyboard, the lead (Dry) voice (incoming audio) will be muted and you only hear the generated harmony voices. 3.HARMONY HOLD -> grabs a short piece of incoming audio and repeats this over and over (when you play notes you only hear this short piece instead of the incoming audio). 4.FOLLOW HARMONY -> shifts the harmony-voices up/down depending on the pitch of the input voice. 5.REVERB OFF -> in case you want to use a external reverb. 6.SPREAD -> moves the dry voice left/harmony voices to the right and vice versa. 7.BLUR -> amount of random delay added to the harmony-voices. 8.SCOOP -> amount of "up-pitching" the harmony-voices as soon as a note is sung (from the incoming audio). 9.BLUE NOTES -> random pitch alteration of the harmony-voices (pitch humanization). 10.BREATH -> adds white noise to the harmony voices to give it some more rough and breathy sound. --- PHRASE MODE: When enabled, records what you sing into the microphone. When you stop singing, about one second later recording will stop. When you now play notes on your MIDI-keyboard, enchoir will play back this phrase instead of harmonizing the live-audio input. --- Hope that helps! |

I use Ableton live and after following your instructions on how to use this great VST, I wasn't able to select "record-enable" on a MIDI track and an AUDIO track at the same time. Maybe I misunderstood the instructions?
Any Tips you would have I would be grateful ---- Signature blocked until 5 posts made |
