Greg asked for our feature requests, so here are mine...

For the Strumming patch:

1) volume knob for adjustable pick attack noise [if possible]

2) Add more chord variations, to deal with #3

3) trying to create a Maj-add 2 chord or a Sus 4 chord is sometimes quite the adventure.

For example, press G-C-D [trying to create a Gsus4 chord]in the chord detection keys results in a F major being strummed.
But pressing F-Bflat-C [trying to create a F sus4 chord] works as expected.

Sometimes it's faster for me to use the lead patch to manually select my notes and use the 2 strumming keys of the lead patch.
When trying to simulate open tunings this is actually the best way I've found so far.

The more I play with it, using only the lead patch with the 2 strum keys and the sustain pedal is pretty magical.
I think Greg is headed down the right path by combining the strumming and lead into a single patch.

Don't have any suggestions yet for the lead patch,
because I have not figured out how to use the layer concept appropriately...need to spend a lot more time with it.

Keep up the good work, Greg!

best,
Charles

I'd like to see a rhythm patch that follows the notes exactly as they are entered instead of trying to match them up with a predefined chord. I don't play keyboard and I know how to play guitar so I generally sequence out the entire chord as it would be fingered on a guitar anyway.

I use the Lead strum keys for that reason (playing chords voiced as you want). I think it would be great to either expand the number of strum variations in the Lead mode or add real input voicing to the rhythm mode. Smile -Perry-

Absolutely. As I use both Evolution guitars more myself, I'm finding certain things like this that would be great to implement. With some chords, especially partial chords, it would be much more convenient to just hold the actual notes you want to strum and then use the strumming keys, rather than changing the chord definitions.
