May be. I only know about this "Catanja" arpeggiator where my first impressions 2009 when it was released are not the best. I remember also to some bad demo restrictions and missing features. Last news on the website is from 19. January 2010... May be he failed with the idea to build a big business around such a plug-in. |

I'd hate to see everyone who purchased a license lose out........and I'd hate to see his business fail. If he's doing something unethical I'll be the first one to grab a pitchfork and a torch and storm the castle but let's see how it plays out....... ---- None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. I don't wish 7Aliens ill either, the software is easy as you get a serial number with it so even if the company went under you'd just need to keep it backed up. But accepting a license transfer request and then not responding when I have accepted someone's money is inexcusable its now been almost six days since I sent the request! I was going to purchase Catanya again in the future but at this point, not likely no would I recommend 7Aliens to any one. They should state there transfer policy on there web site. Shame, its a nice arpp. unless there is a family emergency. That I'd have absolute understanding for. I'll stop at Home Depot for the pitch forks |

Yeah - better you'd have bought something from a big company - for example Native Instrument's Kore.... That's really really weak....There's a big difference between a product being dropped from a company's lineup and a product being abandoned because it's sole developer has passed away............. Damn people lighten up.....Google "Tongue in Cheek".......... So if he'd have said that he drop it, it would be OK? And how do you know that he is gone forever? I just don't like how you disparage all one-man businesses. And what's the point of it all? Everyone who bought the plugin can use it forever anywhere because it's not copy protected. The case would be different with a machine bond copy protection. |

I'll probably want to buy it from you if the delay causes you to lose the other sale. Sorry Eric, the sale wasn't lost - I was (and am) the buyer. I now have communication from 7 Aliens including the DL and serial number so I am very happy. Best Don |

Uh oh, he did not answer for 6 days and you get afraid something seriously happened? My parents must be in constant fear then.
Personally, we normally react to license transfer questions within 2 business days, but I wonder if a week delay would be problematic? No more holidays for us? (Actually 2 persons, so we can coordinate, but still.) |

First you grab their money, then you consider not to reply for a week and worse, even think about going on vacation?
