Whether or not Cakewalk are "connecting" and giving clear answers on this thread, the following info is on Facebook:
"Computer Music" on Facebook wrote:We just got some info from Cakewalk: Z3TA+ 2 will be Windows-only, and it will not be 'locked' to Sonar.

I'd like to clarify one other thing that seems to be confusing people:

If you own Z3TA+, there will be a discounted upgrade to Z3TA+ 2. This goes for any registered user of Z3TA+, whether they bought it on its own, or got it with SONAR Producer.

Is there any idea of price yet, or is that part of the excitement?

That is good news. I always like Z3ta and am interested in this new enhancement.

I saw some people saying they wish they hadn't missed the $19.99 sale, or asking if we could bring it back, so here you go: http://www.store.cakewalk.com/default.a ... Z31.40-20E

You can grab Z3TA+ for $19.99/£14.99/€19.99 for the next 3 days. The offer ends on 6/30.

just downloaded demo, and hell yeah, z3ta 2 or not, this little thing has all kinds of presets to boot and it sounds pretty nice. it'd be nice to know what exactly z3ta 2 is going to bring to the table additionally to what z3ta (1) has to offer.

Wow, that's pretty amazing. You read my mind! I was feeling regret all over...then you suddenly whacked that offer on the table, how could I resist? :D

thanks, and i'm looking forward to v.2. V.1 was the one of the first VSTi synths I ever played with so I have fond memories of it. I hope it's as good as I remember

ps I just bought it, didn't even read to the end of the thread :hihi:
