And this is the promised other thread. I haven't ever really tried LM Full to the extinct where I'd find out if it can have it's buttons triggered by MIDI notes as I did with LE, but I'd expect LM full to be suffering the same problem. But there were other things that stopped me from using LM Full even before I could think about controlling it by MIDI. It's the Tempo Sync and the Metronome.
The Tempo Sync feature would be in the end quite cool. But once I add the plugin to my signal chain, it reads the current BPM from the DAW and starts to run independently - ok tempo but out of sync with host and cannot be in any way stopped or paused. Awkward, really - not to be able to have a given starting time. It wouldn't be such a pain in the ass if the Metronome worked as it should. Alas, it does not, henceforth the whole plugin is - again - unusable until fixed. The Metronome simply outputs to all the plugin's output pins. So I cannot route it to the separate headphone output and therefore I cannot hear it - I couldn't send it to the PA even in a very, very bad dream. Like I say: unusable until fixed. Fix it, Dennis, please.. or come out with the new rewritten version. Otherwise it was just a waste of money from (not only) my part. ---- Signature blocked until 5 posts made |
