Actually I tried a bank by "tinga" I believe and get sound (an ambient patch with some chirpy birds in the background) and change patch but nothing changes--I mean sliders move but the sound is the same patch.I use win xp64. Host have been Cubase 6/Phrazor/VSTHost. Any ideas?? Cheers!
You must change the program patch either with a MIDI program change at your wished MIDI channel event or with the "set to channel" button in the BR808 UI. I hope that helps |

With filters, does amplify param just working with overdrive? |

The amplify stuff in the filter stuff works with overdrive and the biquad filters (really useful with biquad peaking eq, biquad lowshelf, biquad highshelf and so on). |

bero-I am not talking about patch change I am saying "no sound". I tried the latest and ran the VST host you have and get the same result. If I load in a bank like "DamnColdWinter" the name for the patches shows up, but no sound at all. Sliders move when I change patches but no sound. I like what you are doing here so this is frustrating. Any ideas? Cheers! |

Have you tried to turn off "Threads" and/or "SSE" (both in right top corner) already? I've tested BR808 myself with BeRoTracker, BeRoVSTiHost, MiniHost, VSTHost 1.32, Reaper 3.76 and 3.77, FLStudio 10 Demo, MadTracker and Renoise under Win7 x64 without mostly any problems. I've no Cubase here, so that I can't test it myself under Cubase, unless someone donates me a legal copy of Cubase (this applies also to other hosts, by which I should test it). As long as I am dependent on a very detailed error descriptions and on the patience of the users because of the possible "long-questions-and-answers"-sessions to hunt bugs in connection with a host, which I haven't it myself. |

No difference with all combinations of off/on for "threads" and "SSE".Tried in VSTHost,Minihost and BeRoVSTiHost. BTW besides win xp64 I have a AMD 4400+ dualcore CPU. At least its consistent across all hosts. Well if anything else pops up let me know and I will do the same. Cheers! |

A 30 presets soundbank (work on this synth progress slowly, the machine is complex, so many things to try)
Just one thing with speech, its always the first word playing when we replay a second note, word's chaining works only with speech 000, we can chain the word on the other speechs only if we keep the finger on the key (and play another one to have the second word). Maybe an option to erase all samples (and names) of a preset will be cool. Last edited by tinga on Mon Aug 15, 2011 6:52 am; edited 1 time in total |

Fixed now in the newest beta build tinga wrote: Maybe an option to erase all samples (and names) of a preset will be cool. Added a "Clear" button now in the newest beta build Edit: New BR808 example track http://soundcloud.com/rosseaux/bero-back-to-the-nature from me with some edited presets from tinga |

Got it working. I have to change the patch AND hit "set to channel" to produce sound. Is that by design? Usually a program change/patch change in the UI is enough. Now I can dig deeper. Sounds good. Cheers! |

55 presets now in my soundbank, pad synth is great stuff, sometimes, values above limit crash the plugin (and my host -Buzz-), like a value>256 for harmonics, could we have the limits for params?
OMG, the synth will expire in 2 minutes... reload |

That's because the Output is set to -inf dB by default.
It's located in Instruments/Global, drag it all the way to the right to 0 dB and you're good to go. Just tested it btw, capable of so big and lush pads and ambiances, surely an awesome gift, so thanks Bero. Good luck and all the best CC |
