To those who are interested in the new crusher-X microtuning features:
Here you find a sound sketch "Boneflute Micro Clusters generated with crusher-X" http://soundcloud.com/accsone/boneflute-micro-clusters Boneflute recorded. With crusherX-Live! and crusherX-Mac! generated clusters using different tuning sets: convex closure of 7-limit diamond with respect to 225/224 and scale of syntonic comma's, almost 56-tET and standard. I'd like to know how this tuning works (especially traditional tuning), what parameters are involved and to what sounds you can apply it (is a clear pitch needed). Can't find anything on the website, not even a screenshot of crusher-x.

Hi, the tuning system is the same for crusherX-Live!, crusherX-Studio!, crusherX-Mac!. Take a look at lowest panel (that with the keyboard): http://www.accsone.com/images/stories/software/crusherxstudi o/cxsbigscreen3.jpg Here (and inside the help files in the distributions) you will find the description on how it works: http://www.accsone.com/content/view/915/240/lang,english/ In case of further questions, don't hesitate to ask Best Jörg |
