Surprised

Not quite as requested as seinfeld's theme ( Mad ), but I used to love it when some drunk dude would ask me if I knew the bass line to "danger zone" Evil or Very Mad

Now i can't get that song out of my head! Aaaargghhh

Seriously while I don't always get along with everyone here, I wouldn't wish that kind of pain upon even my worst enemy. People really need to learn when to walk away from certain movies for the sake of their mental and physical well being. Hug

I watched Devil last night. What did you think? Not bad. Not good. I was certainly never bored. It would have been better without all the expository voice over that gave away the whole movie at the start.

Agreed, it wasn't bad at all. I expected it to be "happening" bad but there were actually some tense moments Shrug (unlike the happening where the "scary" parts were balls-out laughter)

I have bad claustrophobia, so the stuck in an elevator wasn't good for me. I did like the 'redemptive' ending. I didn't like the voice over at the beginning that basically told the whole plot to the movie, but agreed - one of Shamalamadingdong's better.
(When you start giving yourself roles in movies you're directing, it's time to think about career choice)

Kinda thought so, although I was thinking of giving it a chance.

Crazy Stupid Love looks like it might be good, though. Smile

Unstoppable

First let me start off by saying this film COULD have been a good movie, and through the first 40some mins it wasn't bad. Then all hell breaks loose.

*WARNING SPOILER ALERT*

This guy sucks. Overacting doesn't quite sum it up....I'd like to slap him hard with a giant tuna.

This guy is mostly pointless (kinda like "star trek" ). See what good looks do for you in holywood?? Then again, his wife in the movie is even more pointless.

And Denzhell has always been BOOOOOORRRRRIIIIING imho...but he's actually the bright spot acting wise Shrug His "daughters" are hot, but useless (as hooters girls should be HiHi )

Dialog? As predictable as it gets. Of course, there are technical inconsistencies up the ying, and the weather is perfect (like it always is in Pennsylvania Shrug ) The ending was good though (I guess that is all the matters)

If you like cliches, you'll LOVE this film.

and one more thing........what the f**k was the deal with the helicopters 98% of the time??? Confused

Saw The Avengers last night. Man was that one overhyped movie. Entertaining in parts but generic as hell for the most part. I kept checking the time to see how much more I had to sit through.

And what's with the 92% rating on Rotten tomatoes? I'm guessing the cinema tickets were dipped in acid. Nutter
