Afaik Sylenth is not skinnable. They must hack the code and have replaced some resource files and this violates the EULA.

just google sylenth skins and click the top result, the skin is by scott kane and in one of the posts he says this is to be included in the next update but this is from December 2008. thinking positively maybe lennard has been working on a new update and included the new skins and Avicii has it before any of us,
or.............maybe he's using a cracked copy.

i got the mag in the mail and i had a closer look to whom it is registered....

I think that he owns a legal copy but used this ripped version only because of the skin.

In AU component you simply right click -> show package contents, and under resources there are all the .png you need to replace.

But where we can get those png's not as single file but all the buttons and knobs separated?

As for the EULA I don't think lennard gives a shit anyway!

That skin in the vid is far less hideous than SK's previous "Batman's favourite synth" style ones, assuming it is one of his.

Avicii is using cracked Sylenth , Joachim Garraud is using cracked Gladiator (in FM 241 video) . Both of this guys are big names in dance music industry now . Such a shame !




It is very easy to replace Sylenth skin images inside .dll using any resource editor . Google it

Yes, this works also with Visual Studio. But I don't expect that all musicians have enough knowledge about such stuff.

Honestly, It's making me feel kind of stupid when I had to pay for something one of the most famous producer may have stolen...

Metrum is a kick machine (i own complete Vengeance bundle btw) , Gladiator is soft synth - two different things
FM 241 video part 4 "Track in progress" from 2:20 or so - he uses Gladiator which is registered to "Pierre MAUCLAIR" - a well known warez !

all i know is...give us some OPTIONS! i think sylenth1 is an amazing synth, AND amazingly ugly.

anyway, would love to see a skin or two officially recognized (and while i'm on it, would like Lion compatibility, & some updates/tweaks/enhancements...)
