I'm on a mission and I could use a little help....
I'm working on a remix of 'Breathe' and as there are no stems available, I cannot get hold of the 'Breathe with me' phrase. I've tried a few things: First I tried sampled noise reduction of the instrumental version and removed that from the original. Unfortunately the instrumental is slightly sped up... ....so then I tried isolating two different segments of audio on the original. The first was the part containing the 'Breathe with me' phrase (which has the drumfill in the background) and the second was the part with the drumfill. These two segments are almost identical. I lined them up through multitracking until there was no phasing then I did sampled noise reduction of the drumfill over the vocal part. It worked, but it pretty much degraded the sound to a point where it was unusable because it was missing lots of frequencies. So, with all other options exhausted i've now been going through lots of Prodigy interviews waiting for one of them to say "Breathe". ...If I cannot find this, i'll settle for some clean audio where Keith is saying something that would fit in nicely just before a drop (two or three words at most) Any help would be appreciated. Maybe some of you have some audio interviews or something like that. Thank you all in advance Last edited by PhoniX2011 on Thu Dec 01, 2011 7:40 pm; edited 1 time in total |
