Latest News: Straightarrow updates Quiver VSTi to v1.1

Hi Ralph, just got Quiver and it's probably the most original sounding synth I've come across in a long time - congratulations! My favourite sounds seem to come from modulating the operator parameters in the wosc's though - Would it be possible to have the parameters exposed so I can modulate them with the host DAW, or the in-built lfo's/env's etc? I know this creates a heavier paderizer load (cpu spikes) but maybe there's a way around it? Even if I have to accept the paderizer being disabled when modulation of these parameter's is turned on?
Anyway, thanks again for a great plugin Corey |

Hey Corey,
Thanks for the positive words, glad you like Quiver! I see what you're saying. As you say, it's totally out of the question if the paderizer is enabled. It MIGHT be possible if the paderizer is disabled, I'll have to think about how to do it. One of my TODO items for Quiver 1.2 is optimizing the wavetable generation for the oscillator. I've appended a subitem to test if it's possible to modulate/generate it in realtime. It wasn't originally planned, but several people have suggested it, so may as well give it a go. I'll report results in this thread, but it may take me a month or so to get to it. First I have to get Quiver 1.1 out the door. Best, Ralph |

Thanks Ralph, see how you go - I have to say I like the glitchy jumpiness of moving parameters now, but I'm sure whatever you'll do will be fantastic! |
