This looks like a brand new forum. No cobwebs or trolls yet.
Nice to get some new blood around here.
Mainly posers with win7 skins on their Dell PII Windoze Millenium computers. HiHi
And a few guys with an old Atari or Amiga. Shocked

Welcome to kvr! So tal noisemaker is in a linux port? Its an excellent choice.
And their tal-reverb is the one I use most. I had to manually install
zynjacku and lv2rack today, by using 7zip to open the rpms, and copy/paste the files,
to defeat malformed dependencies. Hope the noisemaker can become an lv2 to join the calf lv2 organ and monosynth, which sound great working with rakarrack.

Good idea to start a forum here, to help close the gap between the oppressed masses,
and those who experience a little freedom. Do you have one of those juce setups where
you can compile for mac, linux and windows?
Cheers

Hey there.

You can get the whole code in using git (need to install it first). Then just run:
git clone git://distrho.git.sf.net/gitroot/distrho/distrho

I was able to compile the plugin on Windows (convert the premake script into a VS2005 project).

LV2 versions are being worked on, and they seem to work quite well.

My plan is to release our own plugin first (to test out the Juce-LV2 wrapper without people complaining to TAL or Arctican devs).
Once we feel like everything's stable, we'll release LV2 version of all the plugins/ports we have so far.

Just be patient, I see this happening within in next month Wink

Hi, I installed your Festige, and hooked up phasex and yoshimi to the
FX .dll versions of Absynth 5 from Native Instruments, and Cakewalks z3ta+, for an enormously enjoyable multi-fx session. z3ta+ is similar to
rakarrack, with fewer modules, but larger controls, and has exquisite sound.
The 6 voice chorus is a real jewel.

Thanks for working on Festige. It is very stable, considering the task
it performs. Hope it helps the Ardour team with vst support in the long run.
Cheers

Another side-effect/benefit, is that when using a .dll in
Festige, I can also use a standalone .exe with wine, and route
one or both to linux fx, for further processing. In my case,
a custom Mustang Amp tone going to the Guitar Rig 5 Player standalone,
and also to z3ta+ fx.dll in Festige,
and one or both of those going to a nice rakarrack patch
as the icing on the cake.
As close to Guitar Heaven as one wants to get,
without actually going there Shit! Wink Whew, close call, that!

hey there glokraw,

the DISTRHO project is not about FeSTige, but anyway, I'm glad you like it.

My new host, Carla, will be able to load Windows VST too, and will be much more stable than fst or dssi-vst bridges.
http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/KXStudio:Applications:Carla

This will probably come for Alpha-3 (alpha-2 will focus on the main Cadence app).
