'Preset 55: LD hollow tube' sounds quite similar.
Maybe you can get the same sound by changing the waveform and the cutoff a little bit. Last edited by [0_0] on Tue Dec 13, 2011 3:57 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I don't think you need an EQ.
You can use the resonance or distortion amount to make the synth sound higher or lower. |

yeah i got a pretty good sound by messing about with the cutoffs and upping the voices + making the last wave a sine but thats just me. with those settings and logic plugins i have gotten good results.
ps when playing this bass (and other in sylenth1) using multiple keys do you find the sound is completely distorting? |

That hardwell chap is a nexus preset rodeo cowboy would of said clown but not aware of whether or not he is partial to pie throwing or wearing novelty flowers that squirt water,so i'll stick with cowboy till i make further developments ---- It's all about the chef not about the kitchen |

Rather than start a new thread with the question asked above. If we don't have Sylenth! how would I go about creating this sound? ---- I wish I could program synths like a pro. |

If you have NI Razor, theres a preset called "Dirty Bow Bass", I'm pretty sure thats the bass Hardwell uses in most of his tracks, and even if it isn't the the exact one, it sounds really similar to the one in the Levels bootleg. As for synthesizing the sound I do not really know |

Maybe this link will help you, I made it in NI Massive It's not 100% right, but it's definitely gonna do so you maybe can figure the sound out. http://www30.zippyshare.com/v/29319041/file.html |
