I went and downloaded the free Davide Carbone soundsets and tried some of them until i came to "Sample Kit 1 172". Then i got this error.

Extract the zip file, because that is the only way you have also the 'folder' contstruction for the sample folder that is missing.

Sorry, I'm not done with shooting out questions yet

I try to enable "Big Screen", but nothing happens. I click it, flip around to the front - nothing - then to the back and it's off again. Any solution to this behavior? I have a 27" monitor with 1920*1024 res.

Edit: I red the help menu and figured it out. It got bigger when opening a new instance of Punch. Sorry. I leave it here in case someone else is wondering.

You must then close your instance of Punch and then make up for the new size.

Just wondering if there is a list of all the included presets. I'm using the demo atm and it seems to have limited presets. I'm specifically looking for an 808 synth kit. I'm also interested to know what other presets are included. Thanks.

There isn't a definitely list, I don't think. I could generate one if needed. However in the full version, in the bank browser part , there is a find function that allows you search through all banks for a specific presets (such as 808 one), which would help with that.

I have a simple quastion about Punch. How is it possible to get two or more FX on one Pad?

Is there any kind of dry/wet regulation for each Pad and FX?

If I maybe got the same fx on two different pads, but the dry and wet should be different on booth pads?

More fx on each pad would make Punch far to 'CPU' hungry.
FX send, we brainstorm about this idea and it would be something for a future update. It would only work if the 4FX are in parallel mode. I am not sure how it would be in CPU usage. But that I will discuss with Jon

Hi there,

I've installed the Punch plugin, but after installation I moved the folder from "steinberg/vstplugins/..." to another location on the same drive. Now Punch can't find the folder path and I don't know how to tell Punch where to look for it. The destination is on the same drive, just another folder.

I'd suggest deleting the moved folder + the sample folder (should be in the moved folder) and installing it where you want it.

There's usually registry entries created at the time of installation telling the plugin where to find it's samples. Now that you've moved it this registry address is pointing to the wrong place. Reinstall it where you want it, don't move folders after installation (and that goes for most software, unless you know what you're doing), and you'll be on your way

I can't really add much but to repeat that you should uninstall totally, and then reinstalling, installing to where you want to place the plugin rather than moving stuff.
