Well Im slowly learning to use Pro Tools 10. Yesterday I recorded a couple songs for a band in PT10 and all went well. But I spent too much time trying to figure out editing in PT. Im slowly getting it, but, Im going to import the session into Tracktion and edit it and finish it up in T3. I am just so much more efficient in T3. So until I become as efficient in PT as I am in T3, T3 will be my, recording other people DAW. Would be nice to see Mackie take it to the next level. Get off your ass Mackie !!!! Give us T4 !!!

Hi BushmasterM4,
What is it that you're missing in T3 then ? Very Happy
Here's a hint: A better MIDI Editor. It's to graphical. I'lld like to filter events and crunch numbers like I could in the old Windows 3.1 Cakewalk (never used Cakewalk after that and don't know if Sonar still has that function). It's much more efficient using the keyboard. So you're right: Get off your ass Mackie !!!! Give us T4 !!!

I have most of the same plugs in PT format. Beat Detective and the ability to quantise "wave" tracks is a big ass plus in PT10 Smile If I can figure out how to do it !!! Smile Been too busy to play with PT10 and learn it. But I will

I talked with Mackie a few weeks back and as of now they have absolutely no plans on doing anything with Traction. DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!

PT10 is awesome once you get the hang of it. Best quality plug in bundles on the market as well as the best sound engine I've heard to date. Keep at it, practice makes perfect Smile

Still learning. I did buy Reaper too, so once I get the hang of PT then I'll learn Reaper too. But for quick recording of ideas, I still load up Tracktion. Smile
