dear all,
I need to download ASIO SDK from Steinberg. So I go to this site http://www.steinberg.net/en/company/developer.html There, I clicked on the ASIO 's icon which direct me to this link http://www.steinberg.net/nc/en/company/developer/sdk_downloa d_portal.html using the account that I have created (and extended before), I log in to the site. I was directed to this page, http://www.steinberg.net/nc/en/company/developer/sdk_downloa d_portal.html but now I have logged in. On this site, I clicked on the ASIO SDK's icon, which should direct me to http://www.steinberg.net/nc/en/company/developer/sdk_downloa d_portal/asio_sdk.html but instead, I was directed to http://www.steinberg.net/nc/404.html#/cc121 Did I go to the wrong step? The point is, I can't download the ASIO SDK because the site is unavailable. I really need this SDK to continue my project. I would be really thankful if anyone could give me an answer. thanks a bunch for your concern. regards. |

Hey,
Go to this URL and login with your developer account: http://www.steinberg.net/nc/en/company/developer/sdk_downloa d_portal.html Click on the ASIO logo, which takes you to: http://www.steinberg.net/nc/en/company/developer/sdk_downloa d_portal/asio_sdk.html Scroll to the bottom of the page, check "I agree" and click "Download ASIO SDK" On the next page you should see a link to the SDK download: ASIO SDK (Format: zip, 0.80 MB) I've just tried it and I'm downloading the SDK as I'm typing this. |

maybe try to close all webpages related to steinberg and carefully attempt to do this again step by step
and if that doesn't work, maybe try to cleanup all your cookies related to steinberg and try once more.. ---- It doesn't matter how it sounds.. ..as long as it has BASS and it's LOUD! |

Problem solved! it turns out that the problem is not on the web site. It's in my internet access.
I accessed it from my campus which has proxy setting preventing to access some sites. seems that this proxy was the problem I couldn't accessed the site. later on, I tried to download it using another internet access which has no proxy. using that, I found no problem accessing the web page. @ antto and travelan, thanks a lot for your attention |

I am having exactly the same problem, but I am definitely not using any form of proxy server. I also get redirected to the 404 page when trying to bring up the asio_sdk.html page, despite the fact that I am definitely logged in with my MySteinberg account. I am even able to post about these troubles on the forums there:
[ http://www.steinberg.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=130&t=6585 ] (http://www.steinberg.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=130&t=6585) Very frustrating indeed to have this important SDK so locked down....[/i] AUTO-ADMIN: Non-MP3 links have been disabled in this post automatically. For anyone having this problem.. When logged in @ [ http://www.steinberg.net/en/company/developer.html ] (www.steinberg.net/en/company/developer.html) click on the link to "extend your account". Enter the extra info, then downloading Steinberg SDK's will be enabled for your account. AUTO-ADMIN: Non-MP3 links have been disabled in this post automatically.
