I have a problem with the download of the upgrades of TVEC 4. I dowloaded them once for my 3 products. The following day, you sent an e-mail about fixes, but I can't download again from the download page. I get a message that said that the maximum downloads have bee reached. Anyone else got this problem? Can you reset the downloads links please on my e-mail? Thanks! Yan Guessing Kirk must be in backlog at present, I have the same issue outstanding, email request sent to Kirk. Hmm, I've still no response on this, anyone else? Maybe a further update is in the works? I got an answer after a direct PM... |

Any update on the woodwinds sample issue for TVEC3? I have seen people reporting this for months now. |

TVEC4 could surely benefit from preset automation in patternmaker.
It would help make ostinatos less machine-like by copying patterns and changing a few settings. |

Is anyone else having issues using vibrato live in Concert Strings Solo Strings (TVEC3)?
It works fine for me with the divisions, however for solo strings choosing vibrato live doesn't change the vibrato setting and in the vibrato live tab it is showing as "You are not currently using vibrato live". |

KHS Concert Strings 2 vs. Cinematic Strings 2
I've been experimenting with these two amazing libraries and have posted two contrasting pieces using the same sequence with both libs. I have included my completely honest observations about the strengths and weaknesses of each. Kirk's strings come out very well, but it is interesting how different they are. If you are interested, the four mockups can be heard at: http://www.soundcloud.com/palestrina7 (click on the song titles to get to the comments about my experience with each library) ---- palestrina7 Mac G5 master, DELL PC slave (16Gb ram 2TB hard drives) Libraries: KHS, VSL, Cinematic Strings, Proj Sam, Garritan, et al. In the first piece (VIVALDI Qui Sedes), I think the clarinet sits better in the mix with KH strings, with cinematic strings it feels a little overpowered. IMO anyway. The ALBINONI Adagio piece really shows the difference in colour between the two. Great midi mockups! I agree with your comment on the abbreviations... suddenly people are talking about CS2 on VI forums and it's confusing to see what they mean! |

Concert strings seems heavier/more balanced in the low end, Thus more powerful.
Good mockups, by the way. Thanks! |

Yeah, the low end s very clean and tight in the KHS strings, it is also much more forgiving then cinematic. Faster to use. ---- palestrina7 Mac G5 master, DELL PC slave (16Gb ram 2TB hard drives) Libraries: KHS, VSL, Cinematic Strings, Proj Sam, Garritan, et al.
