Sort of like this then?

But lately the weirdest thing I've seen (and enjoyed) is Joanna Newsom;

And of course Cabaret Voltaire, John Foxx, Pigbag, Suicide and Lounge Lizards!

3 things:

First thing that popped into my head was Tuvan throat singing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuvan_throat_singing
I'm just fascinated by this. The music itself is not THAT weird, but the discipline of how to perform it is something that would delight a carnival barker.

Next up: Just about anything by John Zorn. A good friend of mine is obsessed with his oeuvre and has amassed almost his whole catalog. The most accessible of these, IMHO, is the klezmer music, and some of his earlier jazz. But from there it appears to slide right into the downright freaky.

Finally, and I confess that I'm not sure what the accurate genre name is, but the heavy, heavy metal death themed indecipherable gravelly vocals shouted at unpredictable intervals. Is this 'death metal'? I'm told that to get that vocal effect, you must not use any vocal treatments or studio tricks, lest you be branded a 'poseur.' Maybe I'm really showing my age, but I find this truly 'weird.'

A band I booked at a club once because I just had to see them. Austin duo, two women, electric guitar and a drum machine. One woman played metal licks to the drum machine and they sang songs about spirals. It was their theology. Before the show they passed out their manifesto written on a page in a spiral.

The music was extremely dramatic, and they were so serious, and it was nuts but actually really great. They had no self consciousness or pretensions at all. Pure creativity.

This 1999 release has some of the weirdest, most wonderful tracks I've ever listened to. Highly recommended!
that compilation is absolutely amazing. a lot of interesting production techniques too.
if there's any links to yootoob examples, point 'em my way please, sounds right up my alley (coming up short so far)...

They aren't too crazy, but Battles is the strangest band that I still thoroughly enjoy.

Can't say which is the weirdest of all but this orchestral piece with non-human vocalists is in the running:
