ezelkow1 wrote: So just posted about the NI komplete deal but I had a few questions. You guys know if they usually do special pricing at some point on just crossgrades? I had been thinking about crossgrading from my reaktor up to komplete 8 and that was like 340, so I was hoping to wait for a 50% off crossgrade deal but didnt know if that would ever come.
trying to figure out if the 300$ current deal would be worth it or not. Also do you know if you can sell of your spare licenses? I assume that the upgrade would be based on one of the products they list, so would that mean any others I have I could then sell? This is the best deal you will find BUT Komplete 9 will probably be released in September. And I guess yes, you could sell all your licenses but one...but I don't know how they decide which one you are crossgrading. Better ask them. |

Good to know, Im not too concerned with komplete 9 since Im more interested in the synths and I would think k9 would end up with more kontakt libs and a few reaktor ensembles, and since I already own the ones I would want I dont think theres much Id be interested in. Now to just find out if I could sell my reaktor and massive licenses since it looks like the upgrade would be based on my absynth4 |

Anyone know the price of upgrading from a single Soundtoys plug-in to the Soundtoys Native bundle? I'm thinking of buying EchoBoy now and getting the rest of the bundle later, but I'm not sure if it makes economical sense. Thanks. |

i THINK the crossgrade versions of komplete only work from kontakt, reaktor, and guitar rig. so of those, you'd have to keep reaktor and could sell your other licenses. from amazon: ... crossgrade for owners of MASCHINE, KONTAKT 1-5, REAKTOR 2-5, KORE 1 + 2 (CONTROLLER), or GUITAR RIG KONTROL 1-5... |

Not sure how this makes it different. AFAIK, you need to keep the license that you crossgraded from. Other licenses can be sold, but as a rule NI will not let you re-sell download-only products. Boxed only. Cheers -B ---- Berfab So many plugins, so little time... |

I think he means that it's different in that it's not just those three that qualify for the cross-grade as is usually the case. For instance, I have Battery 3, and am struggling to resist this deal... But, yeah, you have always had to keep the license for the one that you used as the upgrade-crossgrade. |

It's different because now Massive, FM8, etc also qualify. |

I had licenses for massive, reaktor5, and absynth4. So I based the komplete upgrade on my absynth4 license and sold off massive and reaktor to cover the cost of the upgrade. So it is alot better than their usual crossgrade for 1) being 100 cheaper, and 2) you can use any non-reaktor based synth to do the upgrade |

According to PSP's store (https://www.pspaudioware.net/register/store.php?&hide_produ ct=5), the 608 does not use iLok. Last edited by Nanakai on Sun Apr 01, 2012 2:06 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Audiospillage has an Easter promotion, Drumspillage is now €69 (regular price is €89). On their website it says the deal lasts until march 10, but I figure that will be April 10 For all Mac users out there, this really is a sweet drumsynth I highly recommend. Edit: wrong thread! I'll repost it in the bargains thread, excuse my spamming! |
