Wouldn't that just be a brickwall limiter?

Thank you for the notification that Roughrider have been updated. Wink Now we've got an x64 version, too. Yay!

This is some crazy shi* compressor that I always liked. It grows on you with usage. Laughing

Don't look at the numbers, close your eyes and make it sound good. Thankfully, it doesn't have a "value display" anyway. Smile My recipe: make sensitivity quite high, above the half way, then find the attack and release value you like, then find the ratio you like, then adjust the threshold to the taste. Don't forget chilli and garlic. ;P

Cheers!

p.s. I make really good chilli beans. Laughing

Hmm, my values tend to give heartburn. Any suggestions for that?

Roughrider is outstanding. Suits the name very well. Rolls a bit of high end off, which may annoy some people. I like running a few instances in serial to trash things up completely though Very Happy . Highly recommended.

Well, I'm not sure why someone would be annoyed. Not sure what someone would be otherwise expecting from a company which calls itself Audio Damage.

You know I had this a long time ago and I didn't like it...I think I was crazy back then, because I just redownloaded it and I love it!

Laughing I don't know what I do, but I never get a heartburn from my values. Really. Maybe because I'm vegan? I don't know. I like it so spicy that I sweat while eating it. Smile I also have no problems with offloading the thing. Laughing

Cheers!

p.s. on a second thought, it might be that I'm using powdered garlic and sweet chilli powder [loooots of that, both]? Then I make it spicy with pepper powder to taste. It might help. Cooking the sauce at a really low temperature for at least half an hour, and using just about 3 to 4 spoons of olive oil helps, too. Smile Too much oil gives you a heartburn more easily than anything, especially when mixed with mmmmmm alcohol, yum. ;P

Gentle and nice LPF is a great feature in this one, yeah! Love it. Cool Since I'm not [yet] doing music for bats, I really like it. Laughing

Did anyone actually manage to download Roughrider during the last few days ?

Mac and Windows links both give me a 404. Or is it just me ?
