Hey all,
I'm knocking around an idea based on the original render by Stephan Gries combined with the carbon fibre from the original v2 design. I'd really like to get different faders on it but the new faders get resized to miniscule. Does anyone know where in the big text list I need to look to change the fader dimensons? Thanks Here's where I'm at....

I don't know about mac, the instructions will either be in the original tyrell file or the skin file, either way this isn't the place to be asking.
Try the official thread in the Instruments forum or the thread where you downloaded the skin. |

On Mac, you copy the skin data into the plugin. For the AU Tyrell plugin, go to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/TyrellN6.component in the Finder. (For the VST, its /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/TyrellN6.vst) Control-click on that file to bring up the context menu, and select Show Package Contents. That brings up a new Finder window; navigate to Contents/Resources. You'll see Images and Scripts folders there; those are the ones that you replace with the folders for the skin. (It was the 80's skin that mentioned tyrell.data, right? Bad instruction file. Great skin, though.) |

So it's within the plugin itself! Alright, then. Thank you very much for the kind help, Rimwolf! (Yes, it was the 80s skin.) |

Try the official thread in the Instruments forum or the thread where you downloaded the skin. I wrote a detailed step-by-step for Mac installation on p.2 of this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=342062&postday s=0&postorder=asc&start=15 Best, Joachim ---- If it were easy, anybody would do it! |

Lmao KvR! Over 400 views, several replies and still no feedback on the problem or gui lol Ah well, maybe U-he will get back from the trade show and let me know how to change the bounds of the faders But hey, I'm glad we got the mac problem sorted :p (I'd also like to know how to change the font used in the displays too btw) |

Hi, Scoobz.
I honestly don't know how to do it, or I'd be glad to help you out. That is a nice skin, BTW. Good work! |

Good looking skin scoobz ... I like it. Hope you get it sorted out. Might be nice to have the fader caps and the orange text in white? |

I wish I knew the answer to your question. It must be buried in the scripts text file somewhere, I will PM you if I figure it out. Same goes for, Detune and Output knob, they are smaller than the other knobs and I would like to know how to change their size. What size fader are you contemplating? Try the one that came with v1, even though the image size is big there are spaces around the fader to make room for the shadow. Play around with it I am sure it will work out. |

Thanks guys. Sat, about the knobs.... CONTROL type='Knob' name='Knob 1431' bounds='364.00 69.00 48.00 48.00' parent='Pane 1630' layerMask='1' You need to find the knob you want to change, I did that through a combination of an educated guess and trial and error, the red numbers are the position and the yellow is the size
If you look on that version I've changed the size of the knobs in the xmod section rather than move the graphics around, so changing knobs size is relatively easy. Bear in mind if you change the size you'll have to move the postition HALF the increase or decrease to maintain it's position on the gui. The thing is it's the first time I've dealt with a script file so it's all completely new to me With the slider control, the first numbers are the range (I think, from memory) and then the position but there's no reference to the size or dimensions of the image and simply replacing "Tyrelln7slider" (or whatever it's called) doesn't give the desired result. I'm sure it's something simple, I just don't know the 'rules'. |

Some anti aliasing improvements on the knobs and main display arew needed.
Otherwise this one feels more relaxed than the other one. It could use some slider amount lines too. ---- "Don’t only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the divine." - Ludwig van Beethoven |
