@ET
Thanks for the review. 'Dreamy' is good enough for me @liqih "...but running on a clock like beat, to stomp your feet, ...relax thru movement, not by resting still, and blah blah" I hadn't thought of it like that. Maybe I'll have to revise some of my earlier ideas |

Okay, submission thread is locked, voting thread is up.
Next month's theme: Get to the point, already. Make something musically complete and meaningful (to you and, possibly, to voters) that lasts no longer than thirty seconds. Or as farlukar might put it: a thinly disguised free-for-all with a thirty second time limit. |

Glad to hear you like it, Laguna Rising.
I meant to add: If you like the idea, the credit is kryptonaut's; if you don't, the blame is mine. I like it. farlukar, I thought you'd said as ______ said, but I couldn't remember what went in the blank. |

30 seconds ?
I can't complete a sentence in 30 seconds, let alone a musical thought . . . facinating challenge though ---- an expert on what it feels like to be me & you are who you google http://soundcloud.com/mrnatural-1 |

Quite a challenge, although, these days, I wouldn't want to have to do it on a regular basis. For interest here is one of my 2007 entries. As well as 30 second time limit it had a theme too and this one was 'I love my car'. Car |

i still have a few 2001 kvr tracks.
a crash reset many of the join dates back then so you have many folk who joined in 2002 who actualy have been around longer. we did have either a 2 or 1 minute limit if i remember it correctly 30 sec is a great exercise. |

I remember the 2 minute limit from when I used to do the contest about 5 years ago.
30 seconds is going to be hard. But essentially, is the length of a telly commercial. Just chilled out and listened to this months entries and then voted. Found this way harder than I thought it would be (or remember it being). I'm sure if I re-listen to them all again tomorrow, I'd come up with a different list of ten favourites. |

I remember earlier it used to be 2 mins limit, which was good cause I have a problem losing track/motivation while working on longer tracks except for this month which is other way around. I thought there was no limit so I was composing away to glory and ended up over 6 mins. Fortunately, I read the rules again and cut short my track to 3 mins. The 6 min version is nearly finished. I will release it after the contest ends. I don't think I did justice to the track cause I removed a major section. |

I started listening to all the tracks submitted this month, but woke up 12 hours later with some vague recollection of doing embarrasing things in front of a live audience. So I guess all the tracks were pretty much on theme. Now if I can just concentrate hard enough, hopefully I will get some comments out on each of the tracks over the next few days. ---- Time is an illusion - lunchtime doubly so. |

I could use a new ring tone for my phone. It looks like I might have a few to choose from next month. I might even try and knock up one myself..... ---- Time is an illusion - lunchtime doubly so. |
