Not yet.
We've planned to rework the whole ui resize stuff right after Diva 1.1 and VST3 support though. Including default sizing and size saved with project.

BTW:
Recently hot subject on U-he forum is Diva, while I'm very curious about future of Zebra. Urs, could you tell more about your plans concerning the Zebra?

Do not worry. We have plenty of plans for Zebra too.Janusz Grzybek wrote:BTW:

There'll be magnificent enhancements over the course of a year, both on the gui side as well as on the dsp side. We'll add new filters, we'll add a new "analogish" oscillator type, we'll add a new type of modulator and much, much more.

Especially I'm curious this new oscillator type.

I'm new to Zebra, but I assume these enhancements don't "break" existing presets/sound banks made for 2.5?Urs wrote:Do not worry. We have plenty of plans for Zebra too.Janusz Grzybek wrote:BTW:

Of course not. We've added loads of features since the initial release of 2.0, and the very first presets still work.p_game wrote:I'm new to Zebra, but I assume these enhancements don't "break" existing presets/sound banks made for 2.5?
Albeit... we've been pondering about a Zebra 3.0 that will co-exist with 2.5 - it wouldn't be fully identical sounding, but that would not be an issue because you could have both installed. Just like we did with Zebra 1.5, which we still maintain on request of users from back then.

IMHO, that is the way to go.Urs wrote: Albeit... we've been pondering about a Zebra 3.0 that will co-exist with 2.5
Total reworking GUI and adding many features while preserving 100% compatibility requires too much work and energy. Sometimes it is better to cut developement of previous version and start the next - with all these new oscillators types, filters and modulations. And please do not forget to increase resolution of wavetables (may be optional sizes, i. e. 128, 256, 512, 1024 and so on).
IMHO.

OTOH we have got a magnificent track record of adding features without breaking compatibility (admitted, sometimes automation tracks had to be reassigned in order to reflect changes to the list of parameters)
But then yes again, the ideas we have for the oscillators, mixers etc. are tremendous and might be easier to implement from scratch. The general idea and layout won't change however, they'll just be presented more nicely.
We'll see...

As much as I like Diva, Bazille and so on I'm REALLY looking forward to the Zebra updates
Can't wait to see what you've planned
Cheers
