Another test:
A Chromaphone patch and a Tremor Beat each one processed with 1 instance of Saturn - similar settings/LFO control

A quick question:

The video tutorial mentions the mono version of Saturn - where is it? It only installed one plug-in in my VST and AU folder which comes out stereo (using Live 8 )

Cheers

It installed a file called "FabFilter Saturn (Mono).dll" here as part of the installation.

Live treats everything as stereo or dual mono anyway. Mono plug-ins don't always work correctly in Live, it's easier to just use stereo plug-ins if you have an option.

^ and ^^

Thanks for both of the replies (I'm on a Mac so no dll's).

So maybe in Live the 2 versions wouldn't even show up in Live's plug-in browser? Can anyone using Live confirm this?

I'll have to check in GarageBand when I get home to see if there are 2 AUs showing up.

A month ago I thought for sure I would be able to buy this. Now my demo is expiring and $174 seems like a lot of money. Gotta find a way to make it happen, I'm in too deep.

If you don't already own a FF product, there are some guys around here with the "ask me about 10% off" going on. I have no idea how it works.

Once the gas wore off, 133 bucks (my discount price) seemed a little high but again, so many projects I had put it on and of course.......take it "off" and it sounded like shit Laughing

Too bad I'm not a new customer. I've owned FF stuff in the past but don't currently. Kinda regretting a recent purchase. Oh well, gotta save those pennies because I've gotten so used to using Saturn. Wish they had lay-a-way. Laughing
