Although I don't have any suggestions, best vocoder could mean anything depending on what kind of sound you're going for. Are you looking for retro-style grunge or ultra-modern clean tones? If you're looking for something super clean and ultra hi-fi, it might be worth checking out one of the FFT based solutions. Spectrumworx Shaper module springs to mind. |

Vocodex is amazing. It's even better than the analogue vocoder I have (no kidding).
I would love to have it as 64bit version though as I really hate reaper's bit bridge. |

I also love Vocodex. Predator has a nice vocoder that you can you run audio into as an Fx. The nicest sounding is ElectraX, but you can only load samples. |
