Hi everyone. I've just got a new iPad and decided that my old iPad is worth more to me in the studio than what I could get selling it, so I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of the following when using WIST to sync.

If I have one device running two WIST enabled apps (via background audio), would they both start running when I pressed play on a second device running a WIST enabled app?? Does WIST sync the two 'internally' or is it just the app that you use to perform the initial setup with that starts playing?

I will obviously be able to try this myself but I lent my old one to a friend until her laptop is fixed which is going to be a few days. It's not that long to wait I know but if it works I'm going to start bugging dev's who ain't got it implemented yet

No, only device to device.

I'd love more than one iPad for doing this. Syncing ielectribe to iMS-20 would be great as would ikaossilator and other wist apps. I have yet to try this with my iPad and iPhone.

What do you reckon the chances that Korg will take suggestions?

Korg should make a vsti plugin that you use to sync Wist apps to a daw and also make the multi Wist scenario happen. Then you could easily integrate these instruments into our existing working practice.

Not holding my breath, all sequenced based apps should have ext midi clock sync, not some proprietary system that nobody else uses.

But devs pretty much do what they want and not necessarily what the users need.
