More fuooking rain. I mean, it's ridiculous. I guess it will be great since we were in a drought situation but ffs, I mean it's been like every other day for while now |

Like a very bad Wizard of Oz. They say those trailers weigh 10-30k pounds empty! That's not a typo, that 10,000 pounds, luckily we were spared here. |

I seen that happen once up here near Woodstock ON on the 401 back several years ago...3 trailers just got picked up and hurled a few 100 yards down from where they were...scary stuff!!! Today, sunny and a high near 55F...good walking weather.... ---- Barry The man who survived mustard gas and pepper spray is now a seasoned veteran http://www.ambientonline.org/ |

I lived in nashville when they had that downtown tornado. I was also in the DFW area when they had the FW tornado, but I wasn't close to that, but it was still scary. The nashville one was just insane. |

Detroit had that crazy heatwave (70-90 degrees for two weeks) in mid March like everyone else, but now we're back to average to below spring April temps. Sunny/cloudy with freeze at night and still a *chance* for snow still. The outdoor trees/plants still don't know what to do yet. I'm sure it's confusing the heck out of the animals too, but my cat loved the no snow on the ground for most the winter/spring. Oh yeah that's right, we had some tornadoes just south of us and a few north in that hot spell period. The ones in the south did some serious damage, but no tractor trailers flying around. |

It's been hailing for a couple of minutes now and it's already a inch or two deep with the not so little f#ckers. Not golf ball sized but I'm glad I wasn't caught outside in this lot as it's come from nowhere, ok it was a bit murky perhaps, but the sky didn't threaten anything like this. Even the cats are scared of the battering the windows are getting, and one poor stray black cat is currently trying to shelter under a fir tree in my garden, he's no chance. ---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever. |

Here it's been weird. Cold at night, cool during the day, unlike what it should be considering the weather we had in March. But it seems to be getting warmer. 63°F now in our back yard. ---- "Be excellent to each other." Rain. Forecast? Rain. keep sending that water down - we love the fresh stuff. You can have it Seriously, it's at the point of absurdity. I think we've had precipitation about 90% of the days for month. Even the days that supposedly wouldn't did. I know I shouldn't complain, but it's hard not being able to walk. Everytime I get to the good part (the hill) it starts pouring......even if the "radar" looks to be clear. It's bizarre and annoying. |

Of course. But, it's always windy when it rains. Two problems: the rain blows sideways and gets my pants all wet and the umbrella isn't that sturdy. I do take one with me though. HOWEVER! Just as I typed that moan-fest, the sky's parted, the sun shined and the angels sang.......I got a walk in w/o rain
