Until this post it would have been a surprise to you all: it's going to be Atmosphere !
Yes, Spectrasonics is one of the very few companies who realizes that an even more fancy and powerful music machine is nog going to let you make better music. Instead they'll provide you with the opportunity to realize that less is more and feel more satisfied about your music as you will be less drowned in an overwhelming amount of presets and programmability. While re-introducing Atmosphere seems like a step back, it's really a serious step forward! Spectrasonics care enough for their customers to give you the very best: opportunities to really create good music, again ... less is more. ---- How can I get that mp3-player out of my brain?! |

Is that true??!! That would be great. I wanted Atmosphere back in the day, but the PC I had wasn't nearly powerful enough to run it.
(BTW- I will be expecting my complimentary copy ASAP, and thanks for using my suggestion. You're welcome!) |

I found this on Amazon. Please tell me Atmosphere wasn't $370.00??!!!! If they are going to charge that much, might as well spring for the big boy. |

" a trasure trove of vintage synth sounds" "This item totaly sucked." "If you consider buying this item you might want to know, that you can NOT just install it on your PC and use it." I read that. Hysterical. The guy was complaining about having to register his software. I bet he pulled up the standalone version and wondered how do you make it play?
Some people have way too much free cash........ |

On a slightly wishful note I wish they'd do Orchestraphere.
I would buy that SO much. |

Well, whatever it is, it has to run on the STEAM Engine®.
I kind of expect it to be a Stylus RMX revamp using STEAM, with some percussive synthesis features. HOPEFULLY it would accept all previous tracks' RMX calls, so we don't screw up all of our 'legacy' tracks. With that in mind... maybe it's time to start rendering all of my tracks from the last 7 years worth of RMX usage? But there's always a wish-list here in the Omnisphere range: - Import my own samples - a new library (!!! Gonna need a new HD for that one) - some sort of morphing between sounds or patches? My true dream here? An emulation of all of the Roland Synths Eric Persing helped develop, emulated down to the circuit level. I wonder if I should hurry up and buy Trilian NOW so I can get one of their trifecta discounts like they had like time around. ---- http://soundcloud.com/robertdorschel also check out "Ditty-A-Day 2012"! http://dittyaday2012.wordpress.com/ |

This is what I was thinking. Would be amazing if they did do this but can't see it happening really. They seem to have been quiet recently so whatever they are doing it must be quite big. |
