I'm looking for a center channel tool that can do the same thing that Adobe Audition's center channel remover filter does.
Basically it can remove the center channel or focus on the center channel only, but it's still stereo, unlike other "vocal/center" removers. I'm looking for one in VST form, can someone help? |

Sounds like the way the achieve stereo center cancellation is just by double inverting one of the channels.
A lot of center cancellers are just basically taking one of the channels, inverting it then monotizing the audio, which would make all the similar audio in the left and right channel cancel out. Adobe Audition seems to cancel out the center channel but still leave it stereo somehow. Think of Window's Media Player's WOW effect. Is there any VST like that? |
