Has anyone opted for Ultimate instead on just 8? I can't seem to justify the extra 300 for what they include... |

Seriously? You cannot justify 300 extra for Sessions Strings Pro (costing over 300 on its own!), Evolve Mutations bundle, ALL Abbey Road Drummers (!), ALL Scarbee instruments (!), ALL currently available Reaktor synths (except Skanner XT)?
If I had that extra, I would definitely take it. |

Ultimate owner here. Been with NI since version 4. Now upgrade every other cycle. Great bang for the buck, but would never buy stuff from them separately - it makes no financial sense to me. |

As mentioned in a previous posts, I have Komplete 8, Scarbee Pre with the intention of upgrading to Ultimate by the end of the year. So the 25 euro voucher I have might just go to waste as I can't see the point of buying anything now. I'll just be throwing money away for nothing. ---- Life's too short to program soft synths, that's why we have romplers. |

Yes, I have Skanner and was looking to upgrade to XT but NI won't allow vouchers to be used on upgrades ---- Life's too short to program soft synths, that's why we have romplers. |

Well if I can't use the voucher for upgrades, I might as well buy one of their NI T shirts for the voucher price! The black "future of sound" looks good... ---- Life's too short to program soft synths, that's why we have romplers. |

Nope, can't use voucher for a T-shirt neither.
Only "Komplete" related software products from their web shop. And nothing on sale. Dorky voucher I like Komplete anyhow |

Okay so what are the best presets in Komplete 8? It's going to take forever to audition all the sounds so if you find any gems, state what they are. e.g. your favourite piano, strings patch, etc. |

I don't think you can sell them on. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. If I could sell it to you, I would. ---- Life's too short to program soft synths, that's why we have romplers. |

Someone posted the terms recently and it specifically said you can't. |
