Guitar Rig 4 LePou distortion VSTs Superior Drummer EWQL overkill on the stringy part My Schecter Damien 6 Bass is the guitar pitched down an octave I just posted a tutorial on dubstep/DnB bass re sampling technique over in sound design, and decided I would share some of my completely unrelated metal work :] Some Song This was done before my current method of mastering where I split up every track bus into low/mid/high and employ ducking in and around as well as manual multiband compression. This track was more hands on, kick ducking the bass, snare ducking the guitar and other ambient sounds, solos ducking the guitar track. That kind of stuff. |

Nice!
I love metal instrumentals. I'd break up the cymbal pattern toward the end, though. It started to get a bit monotonous. Otherwise great job! ---- "Be excellent to each other." Dax IX (Music) | Ambient Online Cubase 7, A Few VSTi, Win8 Pro 64, AMD FX-6100, 32GB RAM, 3.25TB total HDD, SSD |

Nice lead playing, but yes, drums are unfortunately massively boring. Improve that, and you'll have a kickass song, sir. |

I enjoyed it. Nice riffage. Great production/mix. I didn't mind the drums. In fact I liked the sound of that kit.
Good work |
