I just posted a tutorial on dubstep/DnB bass re sampling technique over in sound design, and decided I would share some of my completely unrelated metal work :]

This was done before my current method of mastering where I split up every track bus into low/mid/high and employ ducking in and around as well as manual multiband compression. This track was more hands on, kick ducking the bass, snare ducking the guitar and other ambient sounds, solos ducking the guitar track. That kind of stuff.

I love metal instrumentals.

I'd break up the cymbal pattern toward the end, though. It started to get a bit monotonous. Otherwise great job!

Nice instrumental. A lot better than what Ive heard from more "established" bands.

I enjoyed it. Nice riffage. Great production/mix. I didn't mind the drums. In fact I liked the sound of that kit.
