Did you use V1 and then V2 ?
I am keen to find out what exactly changed in V2 and if it is really needed to upgrade. I love V1 and haven't really hit upon any need to go to V2 as yet. ---- Forward ever, Backward never |

Hey LeVzi, time to download the demo again, it's V3 now. A whole new EQ, really... new filter types, two-channel operation in both M/S and dual mono modes, autolisten. The latest update introduces resizable GUI. |

It is a great EQ and it was my go to LOW CPU EQ for awhile... but nothing beats the instant ease and gratification of the FabFilter Q.
I wish the GUI on IIEQPro was just a little more refined, not having such a huge long menu of Filter types, etc. The extra clicking and "ctrl" key commands also annoy me. That being said... sound wise, it is brilliant. CPU wise nearly invisible and flexibility... very much like my college girlfriend. |

I used to use this but it had some bugs in reaper. I use the one in Tone booster now. Both good eq's though. ---- Latest Progressive/Hard Trance releases on Hyperdrive, Metamorph, Transfixion, Bleach, Alien Tech - Free Downloads - http://soundcloud.com/100mg |

A little off topic, but have you seen their banner ad here?

Exactly, and it's red now, not yellow @faun2500: I also have some problems (apparently GUI related) in Reaper, but I mostly use Cubase, so... EQuality is my go-to digital EQ, but IIEQ has those very useful Butterworth filters... ends up in every project. I also have the ToneBoosters and find it very good, but it's quite heavy on the CPU. |

Nice EQ poem, too. I'll give you some virtual beatnik finger snaps. I've still never pulled the trigger on any of these, but the IIEQ Pro has piqued my interest the most. It and the SSL X-EQ seem to have filter options unavailable elsewhere.
Regarding the ad, I should add that there was also a picture of a youngish woman. I haven't seen it at all today, but it was about all I saw for the last couple days. I just thought it was maybe a little strange and inappropriate, though I must admit that it did get me click on it. - |

Yes.. those are really nice.. they also cost at least 5 times the price of iieq pro. For what it is.. it does the trick for me.. and probably could be priced A LOT higher than it is ---- "Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best." - Henry Van Dyke |

KVR has ads?
IIEQ rules - get it before it goes up in price _again_. I'm glad I did. |

Yeah, I thought maybe a lot of you weren't seeing them. I guess that can be done here given your platform, browser, etc. When I read gearsz (their new SFW alias) a lot more than I do now I had their ads blocked with some Firefox whatever, but they only had those banner ads then. They have e*ay stuff popping up all over now to boot. Anyway, this place is like a newspaper ad page with a little story off to the middle-left.
All that said, I'm pretty hot for this EQ, if and when I get another. That may be never though. Equality/equick (DMG was great to give us the latter), Sonnox (which I can never probably sell, knew that going in), squad (might cut this one loose if and when we see what the next update might or might not bring), nobleq (I like it), Softube/Tonelux Tilt EQ (love it), Nomad pulsetech (my only one of theirs I have worth mentioning, the the nevetype is okay), Duende channelstrip EQ (goto if I want the comp or gate/ex too, even sometimes without), t-racks deluxe (the pultec and maybe the classic are okay) and probably another dozen that I can't think of because I don't use them, are more than enough for me. Oh yeah, splineeq for ten bucks from macupdatepromo is a keeper for now and kind of in the DDMF LP territory. Brainworx cleansweep is great for light slope filters only. Sorry, but I just proved to myself that I really don't need anymore by writing all that. But you say IIEQ Pro has butterworth filters, right? Hmm... (aireq, track plug EQ, Melda free+, nomad motown, angeltone, mix control and mc pro EQ's... there's 6 or 7 of the dozen) |
