About a month ago there was a company offering their sound maximizer plugin for $30 discounted from $199. I can't find that in the FS area anymore. Anyone have any idea what that was? This feels like a longshot...

MixControl? I never checked that one out, but a limiter I usually look into.

yes that must have been it although that's definitely not a maximizer... can be used as an inflator tho

Yes, that's it! I saw it in the market place and remember reading punch, fatness, detailed, so that's where I came up with maximizer. But alas it is a saturation plugin.

Anyone get a chance to compare this to other saturation plugins?

Do you have both and like Barricade better?

no, but i have Elephant which is also highly regarded and Barricade can compete well to it. So why not try the demos and judge which you like better.

I personally couldn't live without Barricade, it's the best limiter/maximizer I've ever used - so incredibly transparent - and it's a complete bargain to boot.

de la Mancha's 'bathtub' (limiter, maximizer, compressor)?

Any experiences with this one?
