Very bad news to hear concerning your pal. I hope your able to feel yourself again soon and keep up to making music. This piece is also appropriate with transition. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |

very much drowned in reverb, sounds like the full mix is treated in it. so hard to define certain sounds with so much swamped in verb.... the phaser thing was good though, very vowel orientated which is always a good thing |

The amorphous quality was what I was after. I don't think it's overly swamped in verb at all at my end. Everything you hear in it was intentional...accept where I made mistakes. EDIT: maybe you didn't notice the boomerang like series looping going on. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |

Very enjoyable, Barry. the first part reminded me of Aqua or Epsilon in Malaysian Pale, I can't remember which. I probably haven't heard them in about 25 years. The second part is intoxicatingly mellow and almost hypnotic. Almost like listening to the rhythm of waves hitting the shore.
Great track |

I don't know what your talking about....haha, just kidding. Pt2 seems to lend itself to many interpretations 'cause it's so simple I guess. I get different pictures at different times. Maybe heat radiating off a 104deg highway surface along the Arizona desert...or interference patterns between waves moving across the surface of a pond. There is definitely noticeable modulation between the wave rhythms of the percussive Wurlitzer piano sound and minimoog sound. Thanks for the kind words and taking your time to listen to it in length. ---- "For many individuals with mental illness, creativity is a valued and central part of their identity." |

Well, I listened to all of it, and I liked it enough that I'll listen again tomorrow when I'm less tired. Thank you. |
