I'm not sure if this will be appreciated here but i found this thread to be very entertaining. It involves a user trying to get a Tascam 144 to work with Acid and the byplay between him and Sony's technical support.

Any comments?

I thought Peter from Sony could have handled the situation better but, to Peter's credit, Tascam dude was being unbearable.

Very entertaining. Unbelievable and yet believable. I have seen many similar situations on the various internal helpdesks at work. If you don't know the person reporting a problem, the only safe assumption to make is that all assumptions must be discarded with immediate effect Crying or Very sad

It has NOT been officially discontinued. Peter has stated that it does have a future but won't elaborate any further on that.
