I'm not sure if this will be appreciated here but i found this thread to be very entertaining. It involves a user trying to get a Tascam 144 to work with Acid and the byplay between him and Sony's technical support.
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?M essageID=810501&Replies=46 Any comments? I thought Peter from Sony could have handled the situation better but, to Peter's credit, Tascam dude was being unbearable. Very entertaining. Unbelievable and yet believable. I have seen many similar situations on the various internal helpdesks at work. If you don't know the person reporting a problem, the only safe assumption to make is that all assumptions must be discarded with immediate effect |

It has NOT been officially discontinued. Peter has stated that it does have a future but won't elaborate any further on that.
