Latest News: u-he updates all their plug-ins

So, I started this thread that turned into something long on the Instruments page (Does anyone not like DIVA). Given that it gets such great praise, I decided to purchase. Well, I use PayPal for my transactions. I ordered using my AMEX only to be told I would need to wait for them to verify. Strange, it is usually automatic with PayPal. They said it would most likely take less than four hours, but possibly up to 24 hours. Well, 12 hours later I get a response from "ShareIt.com" and it says the transaction couldn't be completed. There is nothing wrong with my card and I double check it online and it is indeed in good standing. So I try again with PayPal, this time using my bank account (plenty of money there). I get the same automated message that I would have to wait, but it should take less than 4 hours. Well, it's been nearly 6 hours now and no response. I have a feeling that it won't go through with this weird wait, but hopefully it will. If it doesn't, I think I will just stick to the synths I have. I really don't need anymore synths anyway. Maybe I'd try again if it went on sale at some point. I just have come to expect to immediately get my serial number and begin playing with my new toys. I would suggest u-he look into using a different third-party company that takes payment, because this is a bit ridiculous in my book. |

Share it is simply horrible. I had problems almost every time I had to use it. It would be really nice if U-He would use a different service in the future.
Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Life can take some shitty turns sometimes. |

Sometimes things go wrong. Last plugin I bought, I made the payment in paypal, everything was fine, and then the next day I got a "Payment cancelled" message. A quick email to the developer was enough to get it sorted. |

+1million I had the same problem. You can contact Urs though, and I'm sure he'll get it to you quickly. Share-it use to be good years ago, but have turned into a nightmare over time. |

Cheers Dennis Yeah, I tried to order some stuff, I think from CFA... got kicked back saying something like they couldn't accept payment through paypal... even though I ordered something from someone else that same day using share it/paypal. |

Finally got my email from "Share It". It only took NINE AND A HALF HOURS. Furthermore, the PayPal transaction FAILED. For what reason? It doesn't say, and it's obviously a problem with Share It. There is nothing wrong with either payment form I used. TERRIBLE. Oh well, u-he, you lost a potential customer. |

I understand your frustration but please remember most of the u-he staff is in Germany and it's 4am there. I'm sure Urs will contact you first thing tomorrow to straighten this out. He's done direct paypal purchases in the past. Try not to let Share-IT spoil your experience with the actual synths. |

No need for that though. Just send an email to support(at)u-he(dot)com and explain. You'll get it fast that way. Also note, that Urs has mentioned switching to a different system before, because of this problem. |

No need for that though. Seconded. I've bought ACE, Diva and Zebra. Two of those went smoothly via ShareIt, one was a similar tale of frustration that was straightened out w/in 24 hours. Don't confuse Urs's customer dedication or service with shareit's potential for frustration. If you let them know about the problem U-He will set you right - give them a chance and you'll be fine. |

Yeah, I was a little upset. I apologize. I know it is not u-he's fault as everyone here has said what great products and support they give. I believe that. Anyway, like I said initially, maybe I don't need a new synth anyway. I should spend more time with the synths I have. Not the end of the world |

I agree...Share it is a bloody nightmare...
I've only ever had problems conducting transactions through that company... They should rename the "service" to it's acronym = SHIT |

Yep, sorry for that... we're trying FastSpring shortly. It's high up our list after mailing newsletters and stuff.
ShareIt has been good for us, but it came to a point where a third of the orders or so were stalled, and in one particular case a really weird choice was made (they valued a chance to loose 20€ higher than my word) So yes, we had it with ShareIt, but a transition to something else isn't done lightheartedly when you got 4 employees and loads of other bills each month... Again sorry for having delayed this change for so long... (I can look into it if there's still a problem) Cheers, Urs |

And for all other developers, Share It absolutely rort us on exchange rates. How the hell can $179 Australian convert to $208 US when the Yanky dollar is worth less than the Australian....absolute BS! Yet another version of the Australia tax. ---- Where the Hell is Murrumburrah????? Well may you ask, but there I dwell! |

Yes, that's the other thing. I've tried to tell them several times about this, but they just brush it off with "more up-to-date" conversion rates. As I said, we've had it. I can't wait to get off them. |
