Hey there...

I hope quintosardo or anyone else out there know, why studio one doesn't recognize grainz as vst!?

I already read, that somebody had a problem with running grainz in ableton live... I tried everything, that was written in that thread... put the voices files in the system32 folder - also tried to load the dll file directly from the vstplugins folder respectively in vstplugins\grainz\.. folder. also the wav folder is there.

but I don't think, that it has something to do with the folder-structure, since studio one doesn't even check it's compatibility. normally studio one checks new vst's, if they work while it starts up... but it won't do that... so it seems, that studio one does not recognize grainz as a vst?!

i even tried to rename the dll... but that didn't work, too...

so... is anyone out there, who has an idea? Help

cya and thanks in advance... bjulin

Hi!
what is needed is:

- those compatibility files (not Voices, just the system files) in the same dir as Grainz OR in win system directory
- the wav files in the right directory as stated on the website

Did you try these?

yes, I do... I have installed the 32bit studio one... so, it should at least, recognize, that there is a new plugin - but it doesn't! ah, too bad!
