I did a little song using the Platinum Bank Presets. It's all OP-X PRO-II, the drums are done with the presets of the drums bank, no external effects and no mixing at all:

Thanks for the Platinum Bank Peter! I'm an old guy (53) and enjoyed all the real analog keyboards back in the 80's. I hardly miss them with such great software like yours! |

+1 I'm 43 and was a poor teenager and couldn't afford these when they were new, and I'm really happy to be able to get such exacting reproductions for so relatively cheap nowadays. I miss all the knobs but one day I'll get a really nice controller |

Thanks Was just a quick one-hour-off, still needs to be properly worked out; I think the center arp is a bit too penetrating, too much stuff in the mid... |

What host are you using? OP-X PRO-II works well with most host-internal bridges, e.g. the one in Reaper and Sonar. Since it's relatively light on CPU measured by today's standards (2% at full polyphony and modulations with a Core i7 2.66) you don't really lose a lot, even if CPU usage would be twice in bridged mode. Someone even told me that it uses less CPU in his Cubase 64 with JBridge than in his Cubase 32bit with some sessions. Last edited by Peter999 on Thu May 10, 2012 11:51 am; edited 1 time in total |
