New version works without any trouble now.

Good to know Exclamation

@OSIRIS: Thanks for your kudos Wink

I'm working on the next update. The complete song position sync will be part of it. Just like to say that i'm open for other suggestions. No promise what could make it into REFLEX PRO but maybe some ideas help to improve it...

Love it, like I've already said. I'd love it even more if the interface were a lot bigger, and a smidgen less dark. Hell, I might even name my children after it. Wink

Feature-wise, I'm quite happy (and still a little overwhelmed by the possibilities). Maybe a step sequencer, if only for ease of use. The LFOs are pretty capable in that regard.

Presets, like Osiris said, are awesome. They are very good showcases for what Reflex can do.

I used some of the Gate presets on a drumloop, and got some very interesting sounding stuff, so don't be afraid to put something you don't think belongs on there.

I totally agree we need a bigger/lighter GUI and I've already named a small child after it - Reflex Pro MacGuffin.

Now I get what the previous poster is talking about. The audio does not stop when you stop your DAW. On some of the presets you might have to wait a very long time for this . On some plugins I can do this by hitting the main stop button in FL a second time, but in Reflex I found you can stop the audio by hitting the PANIC button.

Yes...
A short quote from the Manual:
Quote:
Whenever you run into unwanted modulation or feedback
loops push the Panic button to reset the current audio
streams. It can also be used as a shortcut for killing
unfinished feedback signals.

Another option is modulating the Decay parameters (or whatever forces the long feedback) with one of the RMS sources. I've done that on some presets which would cause everlasting feedbacks if not muted.
In detail: Set a RMS source to 0% attack and best matching longer release times and let it modulate e.g. the output volume, or decay time by 100%.
This triggers the output signal with an incoming input and prevents neverending or unwanted decays/feedbacks until new input feeds the unit.

BTW
A short reminder to the audience at that point:
SALE ENDS IN THREE DAYS, SO DON'T MISS IT! Smile

I haven't even gotten into the manual for this complex beast Shrug
another vote for a slightly bigger, clearer GUI. It's probably my poor eyes, but I find it hard to focus, and I would like to see it 'brighter', if that helps.

It's far simpler than you guess...Smile
But seriously, if you've any questions don't hesitate to ask. Maybe i can help to clarify things or give some advise.

I hear your (and some others) words. Chances are not bad that i'll intoduce a brighter skin option in the next update.

This plugin was love at first sight, though that GUI gives me a strange feeling of excitement and confusion. To be honest, this looks to me how I think most audio gear looks to non-users... loads of badass looking controls with mysterious functions Laughing

The manual IS helping, and my main problem is finding out how to turn the delays off, so I can try the filters etc on their own. An initialize preset would really be welcome here.

Hi Sendy,
believe me once you got a little familiar with the signal flow it's very easy to handle... though i understand that it looks a bit complicated at first sight.
Simple expressed audio goes just from left to right with some additional free placeable fx:
In -> Filter/Shaper -> Delay -> Filter/Shaper -> Limiter -> Out
Bandsplitter, Frequency shifter and Ambience/Reverb can be placed at different spots in the path.

Since the plug is primary designed as a delay effect it's not intended to turn it completely off. What you can do is set the delays to just 1 sample with 0% decay which introduces one sample latency but beside that just passes the signal through the fx chain.

No wonder I couldn't turn it off Laughing

Thanks for the tip. One sample latency isn't a problem. I really just want to hear the other effects in isolation for educational purposes. For now I'm just tweaking the presets, and loving what I'm hearing! It really has a lot going on at once for some lush washes.

Hi folks,
the next update is near and after hours of nerve-wracking bughunting i took the time just to play with my baby a little bit.
One side effect are some demos of the included preset update package2.
So i'm happy to present some of the new verb/ambience presets and hope they please you as much as me.

Alternating Verb Lo2Hi Verb Pad Breaker Tremoverb

REFLEX PRO V2.2 will contain some new features (selectable skins, Song-Position sync) and some bug fixes.

Cheers

Here comes another one.
A typical pumping dancetrack synth often heard on remix tracks.
Input is a plain stereo sawtooth pad. All modulations come from RP with some automation.
The preset features two different LFO on Amp and Cutoff modulation routed into saturation. The LFOs benefit from the new Song Position Sync. Phasing effects are achieved through feedback on short delay times with some frequence shifting afterwards.

Dancetrack

I still need some days for final testing before the update will be released.

Cheers
