It sounds really really live and that vocal performance is GREAT! (as is the lyric) not 1 or 2 or even 3d but very 99999999D |

thanks emerald!
for this 'album', i'm going through some of my favorites, and playing/singing through them. there will be 'signposts' where the various parts are supposed to meet up, but each song should take on a different form from its respective predecessor... |

Nice work mrblitz. I think this is the third? version of this that I've heard, but it's probably the best yet. Definitely nailed the "live" ambience and the vocal sound is different (more up front). Have you changed your recording technique, or were the neighbours out |

seismic, thanks!
one thing is; my mic cable was repaired; so it seems to be resulting better (vocal) recordings. i've been singing louder, too. (: bump for 3 new ones... (edit: slipstreamed 'hymn of disregard' (thrice now)) |

thanks laguna!
i've messed with 'hymn' a bit more... several iterations of 'pushing and pulling' the guitar back and forth. on this 'final' version, the vocals causing the guitar to 'duck' is also increased. |

Just listened to Hymn of Disregard. I don't think I've heard this one before. Again, the vocals are much more prominent that in many of your earlier tracks, which is good imho. I definitely got a bit of a Hendrix/Zeppelin vibe from this. Again, the live feeling is pretty strong.
Good work |

thanks seismic! maybe another thing with the vocals is, the 'ducking' of the guitar by the voice. another thing is; the instrument selection is very sparse, so the mixing is easier. by no means would i call these 'pro' mixes, but they do sound to be 'approaching a target', if even from a distance.
3 more up... cheers! |

Hymn of disregard is great!
Like the Intro guitar-Motive. This has a wild live athmo going on, yeah and very cool! Very distorted in the way a live recording often goes, so yes. Please do this live, I would be there |

Just played Michelle Dream. I don't think I heard that before. Good recording, and I loved the guitar work on here. This is veering into jazz territory in places.
