Stranger n (Cues A & B)<-no longer exist. this became something smoother.
now formed as Stranger 'n' [1] A itself goes into a desolate area that is subequently mollified by B, but overlapping the two works ok musically it turns out... (the pic is about Walter Bishop solving a strange crime using his wah-wah pedal. "The key is analog de-modulation!") Last edited by jancivil on Sun May 19, 2013 3:32 am; edited 3 times in total |

I lurve that guitar. Definitely has a Belew/Vai smell about it. The reverb is rather good too. I recognised the B section from a few days ago. The beginning of that section reminds me of some of the Rypdal or Christensen ECM stuff from the '70s or maybe '80s. This piece is moving along quite nicely.
Nice work |

thank you for your support.
I think I'm going to stick with this overlap and move on to 'C' which is going to be kind of out there. The final sec. is already written and most of it recorded. the strange thing is how the basis for all this is kind of desolate and overlaying parts on it got to go into 'pretty' areas. always the instrumentation determines style for me. |

Nice!
How come soundcloud processing / conversion / compression doesnt kill your sound quality? Fantastic depth and lovely organic sounds. What a sphere! |

thanks people.
I don't know why it seems like SC didn't ruin the sound. I notice the cymbals seem too loud which would be a product of file compression. Glad the illusion holds... |
