No demo, not enough time for these, but an immediate refund if unsatisfied policy Well that's a pretty sweet policy. But I can't buy the mac AU yet, right? ---- I used to be Zoing, now I am not. |

Hmm, after I got this plugin I realized just how weird it is He has put a new-concept dynamics processor/transient designer together with a tube emu/saturator linked with power supply emu with a dynamics expansion/compression algo *frustrated* confusingly weird |

I can't resist anymore, I must say it even though I shouldn't. It is just beautiful. |

Seriously, it is not weird when you get a grasp on it. Everything is there with a meaning, and you are right, it cannot be replaced with anything (if you use it deeply enough), because it does just unique things.
The eq is there because you cannot do these things with an external eq, it is linked to attack or decay in a level-independent way. The power supply model is there because you cannot make a serious tube model with a perfect power supply. The "spank" is there because you cannot model the tubes with the harmonics ever in the same place, and because you cannot do it with an external effect, because it is linked to peak or decay in a level-independent way. Etc... So it isn't a bunch of crazy modules, it is one thing... and it doesn't overlap with ANY plugins of ours, like it has to be |

What this processor does on a drum track (any piece, pick the one you prefer)is impressive. It can both adds punch and saturation , without killing your dinammics and tone or take the room out of equation (more or less the words of Quinto that I read somewhere) and I agree.
I'm using it on Reaper and seems not possible to use it on a bus . It's not about latency, it's about tone.Sorry if the question is too newbie, but I use to do it (buss effect)with comps and eqs without problems. There's some way make it works on a sub group, Quinto? |

Hi,
what exactly on a bus? Do you mean it distorts too much or is it about the dynamic control? I'm sure it is more suitable to single tracks, the distortion is rather strong and the dynamic control is very different from a compressor. I use it a s a subtle harmonic enhancement (very low input level) on a bus. Just select the third or fourth drive mode (less harmonics). Do you want to submit an audio sample to be processed here? |

Tks Quinto
(hope it makes sense now): I mean used as an insert plugin, on a send /return configuration. For example: I have Overheads on tracks 1 an 2 and Grasso inserted on track 3.And Track 3 receives 1 and 2. This way does not sounds good, lost highs,(comb filtering kinda ?) etc, that's what I mean. |

Oh, in a parallel configuration?
Maybe we need to check the sample alignment, how the internal latency is reported to host. It has to sound good in a send/return configuration. Checking today. |
